Born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Dr. Wendy Peterson grew up in a faith-filled household alongside her twin brother and four sisters. From a young age, her life was marked by purpose — saved at 16 and prophesied over as a minister and prophet long before she ever stepped into the pulpit.
She spent decades serving in the field of education until retiring in 2017. Her educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts from Fayetteville State University, followed by a Master of Education and an Education Specialist degree from Grand Canyon University. After retirement, she leaned fully into her spiritual calling, earning a degree in Theology from East Carolina Theology School in 2021, and a Doctorate of Theology from Nashville Bible College in 2024.
Dr. Wendy is a wife, mother of a blended family of five, grandmother to five beautiful grandchildren, and the proud partner in ministry with her husband, Pastor and Overseer Bobby Peterson of Connecting Lives Global Ministries. Together, they pastor a bold, outreach-driven ministry based in Elm City, North Carolina — birthed in a tent and known as “a church without walls.”
Though she once questioned the call to pastor, she chose obedience and stepped into the role in 2015 alongside her husband under the leadership of her spiritual father, Archbishop Lorenzo Peterson. Over the years, she’s also served as an armor bearer, choir and music director, and praise and worship leader — never shying away from any task in service to the Kingdom.
Dr. Wendy is a spiritual mother, intercessor, prayer warrior, biblical life coach, and gospel artist. Her coaching business was birthed from her mission to connect people closer to God and help build a unified Christian community of mentally sound people who live in victory. She is also the Amazon Best-Selling Author of Beware of the Spirit of Error, a powerful work exposing deception in the Body of Christ.
In addition, Dr. Wendy leads non-profit organizations along with her church including Connecting Lives Global Ministries, which teaches people to serve, and Helping Lives Connect Globally, a non-profit that helps people in crisis, single moms, children and the elderly.
As a coach, she helps men and women move from places of defeat into victorious, purpose-driven lives in Christ. Her heart is to see God’s people healed, whole, and walking fully in their calling — using the tools, gifts, and anointing He’s already given them.
